Living Outback

So, while we are volunteering at the  Visitor Center, we live in a site out back. The  Visitor Center is right next door to Park Headquarters there are maintenance buildings and shops, offices and storage. The rangers  and park admin work out of these offices.  In addition to all of this, many park employees live  here. There are a number of homes occupied by Rangers and other employees. It’s a regular little community.  Last week we walked across the street to home of one of the rangers  to attend a backyard bar-b-que.

There are also four, nicely situated,  full-hookup rv pads for the use of the volunteers who man  the Visitor Center and we are installed in pad #2. Here are some pics of the outback.
