We’ve already met and made friends with many people, perhaps the most interesting, Cary Gray. We met Cary in Pescadero and gave him a lift out to the Butano park entrance which put him a little farther down the road to Santa Cruz. What’s interesting about Cary? Well, he’s and artist writer, story-teller and cross-country unicyclist who has traveled thousands of miles all over the U.S. and Central America on one wheel. Check out his website, CaryOutThere.
Now he has switched from unicycling to running, Barefoot! Yes, barefoot, while pushing a modified jogging baby carrier that he bought for 39$. When we met him he had already logged over a thousand miles. He’s about as pleasant and interesting.Young man as you would ever want to meet.
Why does he do this? To promote his children’s book LUNA, which he has illustrated with his feet. Watch the video on this webpage. He is promoting his kick-starter campaign to get the book published and we wish him success. Cary has also written and illustrated a book called, The Naked Unicylist.
And so it goes…
