Coos Bay Area

Went out exploring today. First stop, the beach here are a couple of shots of Merre and Layla on the beach. Layla walked down toward the water and got surprised by a large wave. She’s definitely not  a water dog.  She drank a little sea water but  didn’t enjoy it.

Next we went seeking the  Cape Arago lighthouse. Not easy to find a good spot and it’s closed to visitors during the winter. Still we got a few good pictures.

Then, of course we sought out beauty.  The waves breaking out on the reef were accompanied by the sounds of sea lions and seals. We couldn’t see them but they made their presence known with music.

We ended the day with a visit to a really good local museum, just a few blocks from our rv.

Tomorrow morning we head south again, hopefully to bed down near Eureka, CA tomorrow evening. Walk in beauty.
