Merre and I aren’t big casino users but twice now we have pulled into Indian Casino related RV parks and been glad that we did. The first was up near Pendleton, the Wild Horse Casino and Resort owned by the Umitlla confederacy, a great place which we’ve reported on before. Now we are parked at the Coquilla Tribe’s Mill Casino and RV park in Northbend, OR and again we are pleased. Clean, efficiently run, with nice, level, paved pads great location right on Coos Bay, great wi-fi service, and quite reasonably priced. With our Good Sam Club discount or our AARP geezer discount, nearly the same as our state park camping fees. They have nice shower facilities, an excellent laundry while the casino itself is classy facility with several restaurants serving great food. As you travel, even if you’re not rving, don’t overlook these places. They both have really nice hotels and I believe the prices are reasonable there as well. I hear good things about other Native casinos too.
